Jessica Parker Malchow is a Florida Bar Certified Real Estate Attorney and a partner in the firm of Baker Hostetler LLP. She represents clients in a wide range of commercial real estate activities, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, finance, management and operations, development and redevelopment, and land use for property types such as retail, industrial, residential, apartments and mixed-use projects.

Jessica has extensive experience in representing owners and purchasers in acquisitions and financings of hotels and resort properties. She has also routinely represented parties in sophisticated transfer and financing arrangements to minimize Florida transfer and financing taxes.

Andrew M. Fisher is a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate Attorney with over sixteen years of real estate related experience, not only as an attorney, but also as a current licensed real estate broker and real estate investor, and a former licensed mortgage loan originator, all of which provide real world practical experience. Prior to opening Fisher Law, Andrew practiced real estate law at Baker Hostetler LLP, a top firm in Orlando (and the nation).

Andrew’s real estate law practice focuses on Realtor® association and multiple listing service issues and support, along with issues related to opening, running, and managing a real estate brokerage office. Andrew also handles real estate closings (commercial and residential), short sale negotiation, property management, timeshare, condominium and developer work, real estate professional issues related to DBPR and FREC, as well as hospitality related matters (hotels and restaurants).

Nishad Khan is a Central Florida based real estate attorney, who established his own firm in 2007, Nishad Khan, PL. Nishad and his firm’s main focuses are all forms of real estate and business transactions, as well as the formation of business entities like corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, the structuring of debt and equity investments, and the negotiation and preparation of corporate agreements. Before opening his own practice, Nishad practiced at several commercial law firms advising businesses and individuals of wealth preservation strategies, advanced estate planning techniques, and innovative tax and financial planning.

With more than 36 years of experience as an attorney, Grace Anne Glavin, has developed a reputation as a highly regarded member of the Florida legal community. Attorney Glavin serves the unique needs of businesses, families, and individuals in real estate closings, estate planning and probate, family law matters, and business law.

As founding board member of Central Florida Real Estate Council, Ms. Glavin has chaired the Law Symposium for the Orlando Regional Realtor Association for two years and has participated as a key note speaker on foreclosures and mortgages for five years. Attorney Glavin has been a recognized expert for over thirty years regarding mortgage foreclosures and has lectured to the National Mortgage Banker Association and the Orange County Bar Association.

With an emphasis on transactional work, Mr. Acosta has focused his energies on “closing the deal”. Roland is committed to providing representation to real people, the everyman, at rates they can afford.

For nearly 20 years Roland was in-house counsel for various banks in the Southeast. Roland was the former associate general counsel for SunTrust Bank for 14 years. As a result of his years in the banking industry Mr. Acosta has amassed a wealth knowledge and contacts in the financial industry. He has assisted clients in obtaining financing for their projects. Mr. Acosta’s sources include both institutional and private funding.

Additionally, Mr. Acosta provides legal guidance and strategy for individuals and organizations involved in the real estate industry. He has advanced the interests of realtors, mortgage brokers, commercial lenders, developers, builders, investors, landlords and entrepreneurs of all stripes. Mr. Acosta has taught real estate law at a variety of regional colleges. He has been a featured speaker, instructor and panelist at various colleges and at Orange County sponsored events on a number of topics including the foreclosure process, foreclosure defense and short sales.

Mr. Delahunty has practiced real estate law in Orlando for 28 years. He was with Gray Robinson, PA before opening his own firm in 2012. He represents developers of all types, as well as numerous commercial lenders. He has extensive experience with land use issues.

Mr. Delahunty is accredited as a LEED AP, supporting his great interest in green and sustainable development. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator where he uses his years of commercial legal experience, as well as prior experience as an insurance adjuster, to bring a practical and business orientation to mediations.

Jesse Graham, Jr., is an Equity Partner in the Orlando office of Burr & Forman LLP and the Section Head over all the firm’s transactional practice groups. He personally practices in the firm’s real estate, corporate, banking, and construction law areas focusing on real estate transactions, corporate work, foreclosures, workouts and collections work, land use, and Condominium law.

He is a member of Board of Directors for the Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys Council and the Board of Advisors for the Rollins College Hamilton Holt School. He currently serves as Chairman on the City of Winter Park Lakes and Waterways Advisory Board. He is also a former Board Member and Chairman of Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County, Florida, Inc., former member of the Circuit Advisory Team for the Ninth Judicial Circuit for Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, LLC, a former member of the One Night Committee for the Orlando Health Trauma Center, an Alumnus of Leadership Winter Park, and a former member and Paul Harris Fellow of the Winter Park Rotary Club. He is an active member of the Homebuilder’s Association of Metro Orlando, the NAIOP – Central Florida Chapter, and the Association for Corporate Growth – Orlando Chapter. In addition, he attends and is a member of First United Methodist Church of Winter Park.

He received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1994 after graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in 1990 and is an AV rated Martindale-Hubbell attorney.

Sarah Gulati is a member of the Florida Bar and the Federal Middle District of Florida. Sarah owns a Real Estate & Business Law Firm with locations in Orlando and Jacksonville. She assists clients with their contract preparation and real estate closings. Growing up with a family of real estate brokers, she has a passion for real estate, as well as being a licensed Real Estate Agent herself.

Kristy is President of the Law Office of Kristy L. Harrington, P.A. She is the Board Attorney for the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors® and the Lake City Board of Realtors®. Prior to entering private practice, Kristy was Senior Counsel for the FL Association of Realtors®. As a result, she now enjoys assisting real estate licensees, brokerages, and property management companies with their risk management, daily business, and other real estate and license-related needs. She also devotes a portion of her practice to Realtor® and real estate licensee representation in both DBPR/Division of Real Estate/FL Real Estate Commission matters and local Realtor® board matters, including Code of Ethics complaints and procuring cause arbitrations. Kristy’s practice also focuses on real estate transactions and contract matters, real estate litigation (including but not limited to contract and deposit disputes, property management issues, landlord/tenant, quiet title, title defect, and foreclosure work), and general business and commercial matters.

Meenakshi (Meena) A. Hirani, Esq. practices in the areas of Commercial Law; Civil Litigation; Real Estate, Real Estate Closings/Title Agent; and Probate, Guardianship, and Estate Planning. She has taught at the Crummer Graduate School of Business as an adjunct professor for ten years and has also taught Legal Clinic at the FAMU College of Law.

Meena received her B.A. in English Literature and LL.B in India. Later, she received a Masters in Comparative Law from the University of San Diego School of Law; an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business, Rollins College; and her JD from the Stetson College of Law.

Meena is a past president of both the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, and serves on many boards. She received the 2012 Leaders in Law award from the Florida Association of Women Lawyers’ Central Florida Chapter.

Frederick W. Jones is a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate lawyer. He has been a member of The Florida Bar for over 40 years, and his legal career includes Staff Counsel for the Florida Real Estate Commission, private practice and Judicial Magistrate positions. In private practice for more than 35 years, most recently as Partner in the Winter Park law firm of Graham, Builder, Jones, Pratt & Marks, LLP, (now Burr & Foreman LLP), he has specialized in residential and commercial real estate transactions, mortgage law, agency, title insurance and lender and broker representation, as well as estate planning and probate. He served as a Special Magistrate for the Orange County ad valorem tax Value Adjust Board and most recently was General Magistrate in Orange County, 9th Judicial Circuit Courts handling residential mortgage foreclosure cases.

Education: The University of Florida (B.A. 1970) and U of F College of Law (J.D. 1974).

Mr. Jones holds an “AV” rating by Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer from 2007 – 2012. He is a member of The Florida Bar and United States Supreme Court Bar, and has been an active member of the American Bar Association and Orange County Bar Association. He is on the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar, has served as Chairman of the Section’s Residential Real Estate & Industry Liaison Committee and currently is an At Large Members representing the 9th Judicial Circuit. Mr. Jones was appointed by The Florida Bar as an Attorney member on the Florida Realtor-Attorney Joint Committee and has continuously served on the Joint Committee since 1997, and he is on the FAR/BAR Contract Sub-Committee. He is founding member and past chair of the Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys Council and currently serves as President of the Attorneys’ Real Estate Councils of Florida. He is past Chairman of the Real Property Committee of the Orange County Bar Association. He was honored with the Attorney Appreciation Award by Orlando Regional Realtors Association in 1996. He is a member of Florida Blue Key, Rotary Club of Winter Park, Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and serves on the boards of various community and charitable organizations.

Alexandre M. Mestdagh, Esq. is managing partner of Mestdagh & Wall, P.A., a boutique law firm representing clients in all facets of real estate and business law. Alex’s focus on real estate law involves representing clients in the sale and purchase of residential and commercial real estate, leasing, and commercial finance. He has significant experience in negotiating and drafting contracts and leases, handling landlord/tenant matters and residential and commercial closings. Fluent in French, Alex also represents international clients, including individuals, companies, developers and lenders. He also uses his experience in business finance to advise clients on business transfers and asset protection matters.

Mr. Schumann concentrates his practice on commercial and complex real estate transactions. For over 10 years he has achieved and continues to maintain his status as a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate Attorney. With his comprehensive and extensive real estate and business expertise, he focuses primarily on matters involving real estate transactions, acquisition, restructuring and development, strategies and planning. Mr. Schumann has significant experience in commercial real estate financing, mortgages, loan restructuring and workouts representing numerous lending institutions and entities; negotiating, closing and enforcing commercial contracts, leases and property management agreements for brokers and investment owners; and providing title certification and defect resolution advice, guidance and services for all those involved in the transactions. A substantial portion of his practice focuses on real estate contract negotiation and closing, utilizing his unique solution-minded approach with the end goal in mind to achieve the desired results.

Rania Soliman is a Board Certified Real Estate Attorney. She concentrates her practice on community association law, contract disputes, sales and purchase transactions, leasing, real estate litigation, and disputes relating to title and easements.

Before opening her own practice, Rania was employed by Taylor & Carls, P.A. (which later merged with Becker & Poliakoff, P.A.) where she focused her practice on all aspects of community association law including business and contract litigation, board member recalls, real property litigation, and disputes relating to land acquisition, title, and easements rights. Rania also has extensive experience in real estate related transactions and regulatory matters. While working for the Department of business and Professional Regulation, Division of Real Estate, she prosecuted real estate licensees for violations of license law.

Ed Storey’s practice focuses on real estate and general corporate transactions. Ed has significant experience in the acquisition, financing, leasing, development and sale of both commercial and residential projects. In addition, Ed is a commercial litigator who has represented clients in a wide variety of business litigation matters, including mortgage foreclosures, landlord/tenant disputes, and general contract disputes.

Sancha Brennan Whynot is a partner in The Brennan Law Firm in Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Whynot’s practice is concentrated in the areas of guardianship, probate and trust administration and real property transactions. She serves as a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar and is currently serving on the ad hoc committee tasked to rewrite the Florida guardianship law. As past Chair of the Section’s Legislative and Case Law Update Seminar committee and vice chair of the CLE Committee, Mrs. Whynot has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Florida Real Estate Attorney’s Council (CFREAC), past Chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s Real Property Committee and past Director of CFSGA, the Central Florida Chapter of the Florida State Guardianship Association. Mrs. Whynot has published several articles and continues to co-author the annual updates to Florida Guardianship Law and Procedure. Ms. Whynot lectures to attorneys, guardians, real estate agents and brokers on a variety of guardianship, property and business related topics.

Mrs. Whynot received her Bachelor of Arts from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and her Juris Doctorate from New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts. Mrs. Whynot is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Courts in the middle district of Florida and is a member of Orange, Seminole and Osceola County Bar Associations.
